Today you will spend the whole day on and around Ba Be Lakes. Drive to the boatlanding where you will board your private boat. First stop will be Puong Cave. We will continue to the Tay village Ban Cam where we will make a stroll through the village. Lunch will be in a village house. After lunch we will hike to the Ta Ken waterfall. Last stop will be the Fairy Pond. We will make a pleasant hike through the forest in order to get there. Return to the boatlanding and drive back to your accommodation.

Today you enjoy a full day trekking to the Cham Chu Nature Reserve, which is, is centred on Mount Cham Chu, at 1,587 m, the highest mountain in Tuyen Quang province. This is one of the few areas where the highly endangered Tonkin Snub-nosed Monkey has been spotted. There are only about 200 of these monkeys left in the wild.  After breakfast we will drive to Cham Chu mountain. We will trek through the forest up the mountain.

We will have a sumptuous Vietnamese picnic lunch at a waterfall before trekking down the mountain to wait for our car to bring us back to the lodge.
