During this short trip you will visit the most interesting UNESCO World Heritage sites of Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. You will start your journey in Luang Prabang, travel onwards to Vietnamese capital Hanoi and mesmerizing Halong Bay. The old Imperial City Hue and the old merchant town Hoi An, formerly known as Faifo, are next on the agenda. From Hoi An you will make an excursion to My Son, the most famous site of the Cham Culture. We have reserved the best for the last: the sprawling ruins of the former Khmer capital Angkor. Almost three days you will spend exploring these fascinating ruins before flying back to Bangkok.

The Khmer Trails journey brings you to what remains of a once extensive and powerful Khmer empire of which Angkor was the epicentre. From Bangkok you will travel to the former capital of Thailand, Ayuthaya, which has many Khmer influences. From there you will travel through the Northeast and will visit the most interesting Khmer ruins before entering Laos where you will visit famour Wat Phou. From Pakse you will fly to the highlight of this trip: the sprawling ruins of Angkor.

This unique trip takes you from Angkor to Phnom Penh via Kompong Thom. You will visit the ancient ruins of Angkor and travel onwards via a beautiful route to Kompong Thom. You will visit Sambor Prei Kuk, pre-Angkorian ruins, and continue to Phnom Penh, the vibrant capital of Phnom Penh where this tour ends.

This exciting overland trip will see you travel from Bangkok to the North East of Thailand. From there you will travel to Siem Reap over land via the former Khmer Rouge stronghold Anlong Veng, an interesting trip indeed. You will visit Angkor and continue to Phnom Penh via the pre-Angkorian ruins at Sambor Prei Kuk. From Phnom Penh you will travel to Battambang, one of the most charming cities in Cambodia. The adventure continues when you travel to Koh Chang via another former Khmer Rouge stronghold, the gem mining town Pailyn.
