Siem Reap, home of Angkor temples, should have a direct flight connection with Dalat, in Vietnam's Central Highlands, according Cambodia's Minister of Tourism, Thong Khon. Reported by the Phnom Penh Post, the Minister said that the route could attract an additional 300,000 tourists per year to the famed temple complex, with Dalat benefiting from a similar number.
"We will help facilitate the flights..to ensure the process of exchanging tourists can be successful carried out," Khon was quoted saying.
