The Muang La Resort is a beautiful high-end lodge on the banks of the Nam Pak River in Udomxai province, northern Laos. It is situated 25 km from Udomxai on the road to Dien Bien Phu/Muang Khua or Phongsaly.
Accommodation consists of six charming wooden bungalows in a pretty garden. Simple and at the same time luxurious, the room have private balconies, rain showers and high ceilings.

The resort has 6 rooms, each individually decorated.
The open air restaurant has a river view and offers a different menu of traditional Lao dishes every night.
The resort has a natural hot spring (hot and salty water 45-50°C) and uses its water in a bath at 4 m high (3mx3m), offering river and forest views. It also has a traditional sauna with a Sala for massage. Baci and Khamu or Lao dances are upon request.
From the resort boat trips along the Nam Ou are possible as well. |
